The Direct Sales Division had an e-learning platform solution created ad hoc by Grupo Planeta itself. They soon outgrew it when they began to need more advanced audience functionalities for the management of training actions and the platform did not allow them to do so.

In order to reach the new level in corporate training demanded by the group, Totara has provided a solution in different areas:
Since April 2019, 1,700 students have accessed the platform, 9,470 course enrollments have been completed and more than 35,000 training hours have been completed. In their previous platform, the maximum completion rate of a course was 62%, but with Totara Learn they have obtained an average of 82%, having achieved in many cases 94% completion rates. It has helped that learners now have personalized training paths and new content formats that are much more interactive, creative and audiovisual. The Training Team believes that the success of its blended training plan is due to the flexibility of Totara Learn. Since its launch, requirements have changed and the platform has always been able to adapt. The support and training service offered by Actua Solutions has been crucial for Grupo Planeta's internal team to constantly test new functionalities and methodologies and achieve greater results.
