The challenge
IEF's core business is to offer classroom and online training and mandatory certifications to financial institutions.
In June 2019, a new law comes into force and many financial institutions were required to train their employees within less than a month. IEF needed a campus to offer this LCCI course to thousands of students from different entities.
Our proposal
Since IEF already had a Moodle platform provided by Actua Solutions and experience in the design of e-learning courses, we opted for the same solution. The IEF team designed with Articulate Storyline, in record time, 16 online courses aimed at different user profiles.
Request a demoDue to the large volume of expected users, the Amazon Web Services infrastructure has made it possible to offer a highly available elearning platform for thousands of simultaneously connected users. The reporting requirements of the entities also required a customization of the Actua Reports module to better serve the monitoring needs.
The results
The LCCI course platform was launched in mid-June 2019.
Three months after the launch, 15,575 users from 6 financial institutions had already accessed the system and more than 11,621 users had been tested (or obtained the certificate).
IEF estimates that some 30,000 professionals will be certified through the platform by June 2020.
