Caixa Enginyers is a credit cooperative with more than 55 years of experience and a responsible and sustainable banking model. It serves more than 216,000 members from 33 branches and a team of more than 500 professionals. In a competitive financial environment, it is committed to training and development as the keys to its growth.
Caixa Ingenieros needed to evolve its elearning platform into a professional development hub. The objective was to foster internal talent and improve employability, with an adaptable tool, integrated with processes such as onboarding and capable of offering a more autonomous and efficient learning experience, aligned with the challenges of the banking sector.
Caixa Enginyers needed a system that was scalable and compatible with its rules and regulations. The creation of customized training itineraries and modules was essential to respond to the individual and collective needs of professionals. At the same time, the system had to adapt to the growing demand for training and allow integration with other internal systems of the entity.

This flexible platform allowed Caixa Enginyers to create an environment adaptable to its needs and development objectives. The integration of Totara Perform in 2023 facilitated performance evaluation and aligned learning with the required competencies. The platform offered not only internal training, but also access to external catalogs such as GoodHabitz. This allowed for continuous customization of the training offer, ensuring that the content is relevant, current and of interest to employees.
The implementation of Totara allowed integration with the ERP of Caixa Enginyers, optimizing user management and aligning performance plans with the needs of each area. In addition, the platform facilitated the creation of customized reports and a more efficient management of training, with access to key data for the Talent and Culture team and also for team leaders and professionals. This allowed e-talent to be a comprehensive tool for professional development and continuous improvement within the company.
